# MCP tool call result

> The JSON-RPC tools/call result wrapper returned by direct Kast MCP.

`content[]` carries display text. For semantic reads, `structuredContent`
carries a [read result](/reference/models/mcp-read-result); its `data` is the
canonical document for the selected tool. Check `isError` and the semantic
status before interpreting that document.
