# Tool RPC reply

> The closed catalog, document, and boundary-failure variants of tool RPC.

`catalog` lists installed tools and their input schemas.
`complete`, `qualified`, and `rejected_document` contain a canonical
`document`. `rejected` contains one finite process failure. Decode a
document with the generated schema for the selected tool.
